Henry County Georgia Jury Awards $4,963 in Rear-End Collision

On September 25, 2019, a rear-end collision occurred in Henry County, Georgia, when a 2001 Ford Expedition struck a 2012 GMC Canyon on Woodsley Road at its intersection with Highway 3. The driver of the GMC Canyon, the plaintiff, sustained injuries and incurred medical expenses exceeding $17,534.62 as a result of the incident.

The plaintiff filed a complaint on January 14, 2021, alleging negligent operation against the driver of the Expedition, and claiming vicarious liability against the vehicle's owner under theories of negligent entrustment and the Family Purpose Doctrine.
