Atlanta Jury Awards $74,565 in Motor Vehicle Negligence

A motor vehicle collision occurred on October 2, 2019, on Woodward Way in Atlanta, Georgia. The plaintiff alleged that the defendant improperly backed a vehicle, misjudging clearance and causing a collision with the plaintiff's vehicle. The plaintiff further claimed that the defendant failed to remain at the scene, parking nearby and walking away without providing information or calling the police. The plaintiff subsequently filed a lawsuit, alleging serious bodily injuries, including to the neck and back, headaches, and emotional distress, as a result of the defendant's negligence.
