Denver County Jury Finds Negligence, Awards $54,863 in Crash

A plaintiff filed a vehicular liability complaint in a Colorado district court in Denver County, alleging a defendant driver negligently operated a motor vehicle, causing a collision with the plaintiff's vehicle. The complaint stated the defendant driver fled the scene of the accident. The plaintiff claimed to have sustained serious injuries, emotional distress, impairment to quality of life, medical expenses, and other economic losses as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff also named the defendant driver's insurer and an insurance adjuster as defendants, alleging they fraudulently represented that the driver was not liable despite overwhelming evidence.
